Hi guys some of you may have seen my bmw 330ti thread. The plan was to keep that aswell as my 130i but unfortunately it had to be sold. Had a viewing last night and its provisionally sold and being picked up 1st week in aug.

Any how the 130i :

Lemans blue
Half leathers
Proffesional stereo
5 door
87k
Full history
Very maticulous previous owner
One before that owned for 8 years
Whiteline rear subframe inserts
Pagid r front pads
Bmw m performance back box
Bmw m performance intake
Has had a lot of maintenance in the last 2 years
Also ice cold air con which is a bonus

Real lovely car. Managed to squeeze a quick deep clean in and its came up excellent. It has been supplied with a private plate youd never guess it's a 55 plate. The interior is also in very good condition.

Ive carried out a oil and filter change
New front wipers
New rear wiper
Both front side repeaters
Removed rear screen tint
Needs somebody work sorting
New floor mats on order

Always wanted a 130i with the m perf back box and intake so really over the moon.

Im going to wales for a week in august so looking forward to going in the 130i and getting a feel for it. Got a meal booked near burton on trent tomorrow so itll be about 60 mile round trip so looking forward to that also.

Hoping to give it a protection detail and interior valet before i go. Dont think ill have time for macchine polishing so hopefully will do that throughout winter and no doubt keep sytner bmw tamworths parts team busy.

Heres a few pics after a quick clean

Hopefully get some time soon to give it a clay polish and wax and clean up the exhaust.

Lovely car in one of the best colours, congrats!

Showing my lack of knowledge, is it EPAS or hydraulic?

Lovely stuff. These are ridiculously understated aren’t they. Best colour too - nice one.

That looks really good but I’m a sucker for LMB cars. It’s a shame I didn’t manage to snaffle that exhaust before he sold the car (I did try hard too! hehe ).

I’m running PS4’s on mine and have been pleased with them so far.

It’s a pre LCI car, so had HPAS.

The EPAS on later cars isn’t that bad though, it seems to be better than the steering on the F series cars.

Great to see another 130i! They are so tweakable inside and out and I enjoy mine.

Looks great - I'm biased having a le mans blue one too! I'm looking forward to changing the run-flats on mine when they get worn (at the moment running the BMW approved Goodyears!).

Make sure you join the FB group if you haven't already (very friendly). For the money these are hard to beat, even with their flaws.

Lovely. thumbup

Le Mans Blue is a great colour, and a 130i must be really entertaining!

I had an E46 325ti Compact for a few years so a 130i was the obvious replacement, but budget constraints mean I have an E90 330i which I really like.

Some years ago I had a 2007 123d that had EPAS and it wasn't too bad, but I definitely prefer HPAS.

Trial fitted gearknob i think it looks really smart. Dead happy with it. Will be fitting plugs and coils one day next week.

The gear knob makes a nice difference (have them in both my 130 and her 125).

You’ve done a tidy job on installing it with the leather gaiter, quite a lot of the time it looks a bit messy when people do that.

Spark plugs fitted this morning. Unfortunately the coils were wrong. The connector lug is incorrectly positioned. Managed to find some bosch ones from ecp so hopefully these will be right. Spoke bmw parts they are the only coils they do now as have to change the connectors when replacing them.

Love these wee cars, wish I could have kept mine.

I got facelifted rear lights for mine (a 55 plate) and that helped refresh the back end hugely! I think it's a worthwhile upgrade.

Gear knob looks very smart wish I'd done that :/ values have held steady/climbed since I sold in 2017 too !

Managed to get a few hours spent cleaning today.

Garage therapy decon shampoo for foam and hand wash
Bilt hamber korrosol on wheels
Coat of car pro hydro 2 lite
Coat of car pro reload
Windowns cleaned
Thorough hoover
Full wipe down with garage therapy interior cleaner

Desperately needs a machine polish and wheel refurb and some bits of paintwork. Also engine bay clean up and a deep clean of the seats.

Finally fitted some new floor mats and a boot mat.

Excuse awful pics will try and get some more at some
