That does look very nice, my perfect spec as I could put back seats in it! I am just not sure it's more than twice the car my 3.9 4S is.

991.2 GTS to 997.2 GT3 - obviously the GT3 is a much different experience but in my opinion for a practical fun weekend toy, road trip and occasional track car it delivers way much more of a hit of excitement.

Definitely have a drive in one and see if it’s twice the car for you.

Seems like a very nice example. Engine bay looks clean. Coolant level looks a bit low but that might be the light and / or if parked on an incline, but I’d want to check all the rubber / hoses / clips etc, but apart from that these cars are solid if looked after. I’d still have it PPI’d by somewhere that knows GT3’s, make sure there’s no surprises lurking anywhere though

Not sure about rear seats. Know it can be done but having spoken to a couple of specialists, they didn't want to do it and was not recommended.

Probably fine but I didn't want to take the risk to be honest.

I saw a white GT3 for sale up in Scotland that had back seats put in it so I know it can be done. I believe the 7.1 is the last GT car to share the same bodyshell as the carrera's so under the carpets they have seatbelt mounts etc. I appreciate specialists not wanting to do it however, not sure if GT car's are registered as two of four seaters and the knock on implications of getting insurance.

That's an incredibly kind and generous offer but I am other side of London in Surrey and with a 5 year old and 2 month old so spare time to do such things is few and far between at the moment!

The gt3 at dove house was mine only sold it because I am moving soon and need to build new garage space so thought it best to sell now and re evaluate when ready as it could be a while car wants for nothing really has had a kenwood apple wireless update original still with car stephe is a straight car 👍

curious why you never marketed for private sale - given what dove house have it up for they must have bid you late 60s low 70s yet its likely to get close to its asking price based on how the market is

Moving house shortly a d have a few cars to move I’ve known Simon at Dove House for a while and I was happy with what was offered I only replied to the post as somebody could be interested in purchasing the car is straight and any prospective purchaser should be happy

Thanks Ed! That's the thread where I got my info from but I couldn't remember where I read it!

We were at the Surrey Porsche meet yesterday and my wife really likes the look of the GT3's but she really doesnt like driving with the seat all the way forward to accommodate the newborn seat so it maybe that 4 seats is not going to be needed anyway!
