I am looking for a compact standard alone video camera to record goings on in my workshop, along the lines of a go-pro but mains powered. It would need to support sufficient SD card capacity for up to 10 hours of video with sound in a reasonably high resolution. Wi-fi access would be vital. Does anyone here know of a suitable device?

Thanks in advance..

You would be better off with some sort of cctv camera tbh.

I have a CCTV system which has several external cameras, but I would like the capability to directly access the camera via Wi-fi and backup the contents of the SD card directly to an external SSD. My current CCTV system wont do this.

Any decent WiFi camera will do this. Have a look on Amazon for blink cams or kasa. They offer effortless wireless connection and mains power and will back up to the cloud.

Not that it is my business but remember you need to and should, tell people you are recording them and put up some signage
