I thought it was interesting in the British GP thread to hear who people support and that it'd be interesting to get an actual poll of the results.

Only 10 poll options were allowed so sadly no 'neutral' option in there...

Feel free to 'come clean' below with who you support, or try to convince us you just love the sport and don't care who wins hehe

Personally, team wise, I'm a Red Bull fan getmecoat

You might want to vote in your own poll then as at the time I voted RB had 0%!

Funnily enough. I don't really support any team... But I do have a distinct dislike for.... RedBull getmecoat

Needs an option for “all/none of them”

I’m not a die-hard for any of the teams but I love to see an underdog come through, or a middling team punching above their weight, or a good redemption story.

I have my favourite team and drivers but actually I like it when there's a good mix of race winners.

I just don't like cheating and lying teams who insist on special treatment winning.

I also don't like red....

I know, but it only allows 10 options, and I was going to just omit Haas entirely to put an 'impartial / not bothered' option, but it seemed a bit cruel hehe

I support the sport these days. I just want to be entertained. I have no horse in the race.

I put Alfa, because I just have too, it’s a Virus!

But I’m more inclined to vote iN a poll for a team I ‘don’t’ support, I’m sick of the Mercedes domination and really glad when ANY other team gets the upper hand.

Always been McLaren to an extent, as it was a James Hunt sticker on my pedal kart when I was very young, and it was all about Senna during the years that many of us get turned towards a particular sport or interests

Ferrari also, due to the Alesi and Berger partnership around a similar era, and then sticking with V12 engines far longer than anyone else. Obviously lots of highs with Schumacher too

I don't support a team but I would like to see McLaren, Williams and to an extent Ferrari recapture some of their former glory.

I don't particularly support any team or driver (or sports-person or team in any other sport, for that matter).

I have differing levels of respect for the attitude and approach of different teams, but that's not quite the same thing.

Even Gene Haas isn't a fan of Haas these days!

EDIT: Does need a none/all option really, shame about the ten limit. A surprising number of people genuinely don't support a specific team. I think driver support is more prolific and stronger in general too.. But you'd be ten short of options for that wink

McLaren... Being just 10 miles away, they are my local team.

I even supported them pre-Lando laugh

Williams gets my vote, mainly because I look back fondly at the Mansell - Hill years, this was when I first got into F1.

I have a soft spot for Haas, mainly because of watching DTS and finding Guenther Steiner entertaining smile

I support all the teams to a degree, I hate to see them do badly and want each to have their good performances and their drivers to show their ability.

But if I had to choose, in the current era its Mclaren, although my favourite driver since his debut is Max, closely followed by Lando.

Grew up as a huge Schumacher fan, any team he drove for was my fav. Loved watching him race, and would get upset if he didn't win. Fortunately during his prime there were few times he wasn't on top.

hehe

It is a shame, although I suppose in a way it's actually helpful to force people to pick a favourite even if they're largely neutral scratchchin

Doesn't look like Red Bull are winning over the PH demographic of mostly 50+ males hehe

Can’t say I have a favourite team anymore.
I started following F1 in the ‘80s and was always a fan of Williams. But now I think of them as just another UK based team. Although I’d still like them to find their way back to the front of the mid-field.

McLaren, but mostly because I live 2 miles away from the MTC!
(I even met Lando in my local Waitrose a few months ago biggrin)

Can't say I really support any team.

I appreciate the farness and transparency way mercedes go about their business, after having grown up with the highlights of watching the likes of frank treat great drivers as disposable commodities, benetton getting away with unbelievable cheating, ferraris loathsome and cynical scheming and manuevering, but I think to some they come across as just a bit fart sniffingly self satisfied and I can kind of see where they come from too.

I don't support any team as such, I like some drivers and I like some teams, and don't like others so much..... This can change too....
