320d quicker warm up than 330d? How do they do it?

Physically smaller engine with less mass to heat up, and a more intensive preheating setup?

Some of the engines are similar sizes though. Like a 5 year old 320d vs a 2021 version. Both 2.0 engines but the newer one gets there quicker.
