vantage bluetooth music iphone

Had been quoted £600-£1,000 for updade to play music though my 207 vantage roadster system on my iphone.
have been given advice by some members but then had a Ureka moment.
Bought a £12 FM transmitter bluetooth from ebay and pluged it into rear armrest,paird up chanel 87.5 on radio and walah
full iphone music to the sytem without messing with the current bluetooth system,SMart or what.......Pass it on,Dave.

Colour me interested also, never even considered an FM transmitter although would question the sound quality. Reminds me of the days of using the iPhone->cassette tape adaptor in my old Golf!

The sound quality will not be good, of that I can assure you without even having heard it.

Bluetooth audio is bad enough full stop and when you factor in an FM transmitter to the mix it's not the makings of a quality sound. Cheap and maybe convenient if you value the convenience at the expense of sound quality.

I would urge you to use 320kps MP3's on a USB stick for the best listening experience and to forget about bluetooth audio.
