Corner bracket - 55 inch
Discussion
I need to childproof my tv and get it off the current stand.
It's an LG OLED 55 inch sat on an Ikea besta, fine for two couch potatoes but not now.
Issue is its in the corner like this so I'm thinking a corner bracket and raising it up.

Anyone got good recommended brands of arms capable of supporting this TV?

An articulated tv wall mount will sort that out.
Something like this.

Any particular brands out there that can be trusted?
The trust is in your ability to fix it properly to the wall! I use Sanus brackets for clients if they want swivel, mainly because they are well engineered so there's no slack in the moving joints.
If you are hanging it flat on the wall there is zero point in an expensive one, just get the cheapest pressed steel one available.

It's stud but would use GripIt's as they are pretty darn good I find. I use Sanus brackets for clients if they want swivel, mainly because they are well engineered so there's no slack in the moving joints.

LG says its 17kg without stand.

You'll need to fix to a stud if you're using an articulated bracket, don't rely on plasterboard fixings, the cantilevered weight will be too much. LG says its 17kg without stand.
Try and get a bracket with a large wall plate so you can spread the load.

Agreed, its the leverage weight when it is extended that could be the issue. Try and get a bracket with a large wall plate so you can spread the load.

FutureAutomation make amazing quality brackets, but unless you have something super heavy or need a completely 100% repeatable movement in or out they are a little overkill in this application.
Or if you have the trade discount! They are marvellous, and what I used for our 75-er, but I'd agree that FA is over the top for this.
We'd use Peerless or Unicol, but the Unicol will likely weigh more than the screen...
