DB11 window fault

Hoping someone might be able to offer some help or advice before I call AM.

The drivers side window has started to play up and every time I put the window up it comes back down about half way. I have checked for any obstructions or issues but it just reaches the top and then drops back down.

I tried holding the down switch for a while as this sometimes resets the home position on other models but the same issue keeps happening .

The window goes up and down freely when you hold the button but will drop back down straight away.


Any ideas of how to reset this or anything to check will be great .

I would try:

Full down and hold switch for 5 seconds after it as fully opened
Full up and hold switch again for 5 seconds.

I had a similar issue with my passenger window on my DB11. When you opened the door it would drop an inch as it is supposed to do but then wouldn’t go back up when the door closed. You had to use the window switch to move it up and let go before it bounced off the top. Took it to AM who reflashed the window control module which apparently fixed it but they then decided to replace the module under warranty since they didn’t understand why it had failed in the first place. No issues since.

and to think some on PH say the new cars have lost the charm of the VH platformed cars

Thanks for the info guys, tried everything but to no avail. Booked in to AM Chichester for them to collect next week.
Fingers crossed it’s an easy fix !!
