Hi All

I work for a multi-national organisation that has just revised it's company car policy within the last few weeks.
Essentially, no EVs, no Hybrids, just a mix of VAG and BMW.

To say the feedback was negative is an understatement...so much so where they've gone back with the feedback to review the policy once more.

Has anyone here moved from a traditional policy (petrol/diesel) to EVs for their business or business they work for? If so, have you found the switch easy and essentially, does it work?

We have a mix of employees, locations, mileages and driving profiles. At my grade, we have £570/month for the lease on a 3+47 profile which is way under what a VW ID3 would cost (for example) - never-mind the fuel & taxation benefits..

Many thanks

Thanks and completely agree, within our field of operation (FMCG food) we're pretty much #1 from a sustainability and eco point of view.

I think I would put up with the charging concerns if I was saving £350/month net.

Our company has introduced Evs to the list and expanded from around 8 manufactures to add in Tesla and Hyundai.

Up to the chooser what they want to have from the list, company encourages evs and puts a small discount on the monthly lease to encourage take up. If your adamant that you don’t want an ev, then choose a petrol, diesel or hybrid.

I took at ev early on in the scheme, at the time there were a choice of two cars, both low level evs. Given I’m a perk driver and don’t do many company miles, I was all up for the BIK saving and saved 350 a month in tax. I can live with the compromises for that sort of cash.

Our lease costs change monthly depending on the deal on offer, sometimes you can get a bargain.

Perfect, thanks for that. Sounds a solid scheme that gives you all the options. We're fully aware that fully electric isn't for everyone..
