Local chap is thinking of selling his 850r estate. Its in need of work on the body and has been off the road a good while.

I think it needs new wings (common) ABS pump sorted, exhaust replaced - but would be a useable daily. Concours it would need a complete refresh but thats a bit beyond me.

Few bits of rust on the rear arches which will need some attention am assuming. Wiring fault up front thats been bridged by an auto electrician so it runs, electrics all work, just needs a more permanent fix.

I am mulling it over - as its a classic in some senses, but wondered what views on value were?

What's the mileage? How many owners has it had? What history does it have with it? What colour is it?

Would need some photos of it, highlighting the problem areas to give any kind of an accurate appraisal.

Manual or automatic would be a fairly important consideration, I'd have thought?

Manual so super rare - 4 -5 owners I think with a stack of history including the PCV system being sorted. Huge folder of invoices, with about 188k on the clock.

Ebay ad going up soon apparently but will see if I can get some pics.

I bought a manual T5 years ago to scratch an itch. It was a bit of a dog and I found it very disappointing the brakes are pretty terrible as well.
