Anyone else play this infuriating but brilliant game ?

I spent a good while playing it in the original format (3 player types) but didn't bother with the new player type.

I got quite into it for a while and would talk about different playstyles and card synergies with a mate then just found out nothing else matters but stacking lightning orbs and orb slots as the robot guy. The game is brilliant at corrupting your second floor promising run by just a couple of misplayed encounters so it was always fun trying to find the cheesiest way to play the games sometimes cruel rng back on itself.
