Vinyl cleaning
Discussion
Glyptone has always worked for me, try their website too.
Also if your M is anything like mine is/was, there are "secret" places in M series cars where too much vinyl was used originally which you may be able to canibalise. For example, take off the outer part of the door lining and see how much "overage" there is on the lining bit, also try turning it around upside-down so to speak. On my 3000S, another place with too much vinyl is the bit that runs from the underneath the rear shelf area into the boot, I guess that in the 70s the guys/gals in the trim department had whole rolls of that lovley stuff (with the yellow logos on the back ?) and were more concerned with getting the trim complete fast rather than super-economically.
