Getting Attention
Discussion
I have a new product that I have been working on for a bit and now its ready to go I want to grab the attention of an existing player in my target market, hopefully to license the IP rights out to.
I have been doing the Linked In route, networking etc. but is there another method that would be attention grabbing?
Any suggestions?

Just make sure you protect your IP really well.
Mate of mine designed something, showed it to a buyer of a well known catalogue shop in the late 90s. They borrowed a prototype, and 3 weeks later said they weren't interested.
6 months later they were all over the show being made in China.

Player - singular?
If so, as V8 says, just pick up the phone. Use LinkedIn or their website to find the name of the person you need to speak with.
If it should be 'Players' then the same applies unless there are a great many in which case, targeted Linkedin Advertising with good content would be the best route

IP protection is in place as is the ability to enforce it if required.Mate of mine designed something, showed it to a buyer of a well known catalogue shop in the late 90s. They borrowed a prototype, and 3 weeks later said they weren't interested.

Gutted for your mate, I'm aware of these horror stories and have been extra cautious so far. I think this is why I'm looking for pragmatic suggestions in changing tack.
