1) Frame yourself correctly : In this shot, there is too much head room.
It gives a feeling that the subject is sinking, and it makes your subject look small.

2) Make yourself look intelligent. Film in your study directly in front of a wall of books or download an image that
simulates this, but be careful to pay for the image as you don't want to infringe copyright laws.

3) Never, ever just download from Google search, the image may be watermarked. Someone, somewhere might be watching .... even the BBC Newschannel output.

Just another example of a person promoted above their intellect.

I think it is becoming fairly apparent that Diane Abbott's intellect (check out some of her interviews from early in her career - she was eloquent and utterly lucid) has diminished through self-inflicted means.

There's enough evidence out there to suggest that she is an (increasingly dys)functioning alcoholic. They should get Ian Blackford to do a number on her (like he did with Charles Kennedy).

If the evidence she's a functioning alcoholic is because of one can of mojito on TfL then we have wide society issues.

She's diabetic.

Separately, she's crap at IT.

Yeah, sure. Diabetic medicine is highly advanced and the days of unexpected hypos are long gone. Abbot is intelligent enough to be able to control her blood sugars to avoid repeated moments of loss of control (assuming the problem is diabetes).

IIRC similar excuses were made for Charles Kennedy before he faced up to his problems, which was sadly his undoing as the mob piled in. I suspect something similar is happening with Abbot.

This is starting to grate.

Diabetes is not an excuse for ineptitude in public office and playing the card each time this happens isn't fair on people who suffer far worse with diabetes than she appears to yet can point a camera at their own face.

I wasn't playing the card. Another poster was accusing her of being an alcoholic. That in itself isn't a crime, it's an illness all the same. But it's rather bizarre to impose a medical condition on someone you neither know personally or professionally.

Strange you cropped the bit from my quote that clearly said being crap at IT is a separate issue.
