Hi everyone, help needed please....
2007 Audi A4 Quattro Avant B7 2.0TDi.Manual transmission

Car starts fine and ticks over. Throttle does nothing (apart from taking it from tickover to about 1050 RPM). Once engine is warmed up – the revs can be built up by moving accelerator pedal very slowly – once it reaches say 1500 rpm ish it accelerates OK - although sluggish throttle response - once it hits tickover again, its a slow to build it up again exercise.

Car had a new turbo 2-3K ago. It has DPF and EGR deleted (and has been mapped as well - all prior to my ownership). I have tried / fitted New throttle body, new throttle pedal complete, new MAF, fuel pump changed....No Fault codes showing at all (a couple of specialist garages have looked at it and they are baffled...)...

Car was running fine before problem occurred after a morning start. Disconnecting the MAF makes it run / rev better but have changed it anyway so it’s not a faulty MAF. No untoward noises etc.

Any ideas as I am at a complete loss now... HELP!!

So no codes, and some fool decided to massively launch the parts cannon ? Why ?

And there is another potential issue, which would require a semi conpetent technician to test to see if any fault codes can actually be reported.
As a lot of these asshole fly by night remap places have been known to delete an ecu's ability to report faults, which doesn't exactly help in diagnosing problems further down the line.

Some might just delete DPF etc related stuff, others have been known to pretty much delete everything.

And you seem to imply you've just bought it recently ? Wonder why the other person sold it ?

First port of call would be to have someone test if any fault codes can be generated at all, if that seems dodgy, have a competent tuner load a 100% correct and standard ecu file to your car so it can actually assist a technician by reporting faults.

And try and find out a proper history of the vehicle, and why all these random parts were fitted

Similarly, I would be tempted to return to standard as at least you will stand a better chance then.

Thanks for the suggestion of a stock remap to see if fault codes can re-appear. This is about to happen (next week anyway..!).I reckon the map to remove the DPF and EGR has been done badly..There is also a suggestion that the DPF has not been deleted properly...this will all be sorted in due course.
Some of the replaced parts have been fitted and removed etc. so not too much expense to be honest.....I know that changing parts without due reason is a mugs game....I'll update in due course.
