5x112 Audi wheels on mk4 golf gti
Discussion
Has anyone put 15mm adapters on audi S3 wheels for a mk4 golf?
Reason I'm asking is that I got a set that are 5x112 fitment which annoyingly is not the 5x100 fitment on the golf (I thought they were all 5x100 until now).
Just wondering if they would stick out too much before I buy some adapters.
The wheels in pic below are the ones I have.

5x112 refers to the PCD, not the offset (ETxx).
I am guessing therefor that the spacers being proposed are the type that bolt on to the existing studs/bolt holes and then provide differently spaced studs, like these.....

I've used concentric spacers before without problems, but I've always thought that these things are worth nether the risk nor expense. Adding the cost decent quality ones to a fitment and you would have been as well sourcing correctly pitched wheels in the first place, and I've seen too many pictures of cheap ones that have failed drastically (many of them on these forums).

This 100%.I am guessing therefor that the spacers being proposed are the type that bolt on to the existing studs/bolt holes and then provide differently spaced studs, like these.....

As for the pcd issue, the 5x112 in my experience is used on A4 sized cars and above, below that i.e. A3 and smaller the pcd is the same as the Golf i.e. 5x100 so something like an S3 wheel would work.
Think this correct for earlier Audis but later A3's are 5x112.
This website might ge useful https://www.wheelfitment.eu/PCD/5x100/57.1.html
Indeed, but this being a mk4 Golf that carries through. The change to 5x112 worked through with the 8P, mk5 Golf etc. 5x100 is on mk4 platform cars like the TT, mk1 Leon, mk1 Octavia and 8L A3 as well is things like the mk1 Fabia and contemporary Polo, Ibiza, and A2. There will be more. It’s a bit like Ford and the cars on four/five stud wheels - best to just but ones that fit directly.
