Anyone who has visitted this place - at £3.50 a throw -will agree that it is possibly the most value for money brit motor & automobilia fest under one roof anywhere in the land. It is low key but atmospheric.

It is also in the middle of fields, with lots of places to stay, a short walk from the town centre and run by a fanatical brit motor - car and bike - family. Geoff, Huw's son, has his own car resto business, and his work is second to none (imho), AND he said we can park and bbq in their field. He also knows "several good drives", which take account of local knowledge, in every respect.

Of course, people should visit just for the day out, any time. But would folks be up for an arranged gathering, perhaps next spring?

Oh great timing!

I was up that neck of the woods for a week, last week! Bugger!

Not likely to be going again for a while, but wow! What a difference to the over crowded Kent roads, fewer people, wider roads, great scenery, the list goes on.

If you get the chance go, it's worth it for the scenery alone!

On top of the Long Mynd - Shropshire.

Cat - it's on the A5 2 mins away heading out of Town, towards Horseshoe Pass, on the left, just after the spot where you can see rail, canal & and river running alongside the road.
