What is the best thing to do Ford 1.4 TDCI rubber boot
Discussion
It depends on how easy it comes apart. I ended up doing a driveshaft boot for a few quid on my 9-3 and I was glad I went that route, but I would have also been happy replacing it and sorting the original one as a spare.
If I didn't have the luxury of a workbench and a garage I'd definitely replace the whole driveshaft.

No reason to ditch a perfectly good drive shaft, just do the boot, no-brainer.
Its not but I had the same on my van and a brand new shaft on ebay was about £50. Not worth getting covered in grease for that money and you never really know how long its been split for.Gassing Station | Home Mechanics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
