Where to shave indoors (stubble)?

This is me



I am perma-stubbled. Before my wife kicked me out we decided to separate I have always shaved outside, come sunshine or snow, with a 240v wahl hair shaver so the little bits of hair could go all over the place, not a problem.



Now I’m luxuriating in a gardenless flat, I have resorted to shaving in the shower cubicle because of the little bits. But this entails running an extension lead from the bedroom into the shower, which may not be the best idea. I have visions of my body being found 3 months later when work wonder why the hell I’m been skiving for so long.



I’m also thinking I am going to have to start shaving my noggin due to going baldy, so what’s the latest gizmo that enables me to do such? Some of the weedy beard trimmers don’t look up to much. I’m guessing given the high proportion of single bods on this forum (wonder why??) someone may have some good recommendations

not single but surely the answer is simply a waterproof / water-resistant battery shaver which is designed to be used in the shower - plenty around

Brio Beardscape is the only trimmer you will ever need - I just stand in the bath which is then easy to clean afterwards.

Nothing as satisfying as rubbing your hands over sharp stubble to me. People will say it’s not nice for your partner but tbh I rarely have to worry about that

Over the sink....with something like a philips norelco with vaccum, which sucks in most of the bits, which you then empty afterwards.

Don't forget that hair doesn't dissolve and can get stuck / build up over time, so it's likely you'll need to get something like 'Buster Plughole Unblocker' to use once in a while.

We have hardwood floors downstairs so I just sit on the floor to do it then hoover up all the hair afterwards.

Loving the photo shop skills by the way.

Exactly why I don't do it over the sink/in the shower.

I just use the battery one I have... who still plugs in a razor?

She does clean up the 10000 bits i miss during my clean up. I find just blowing hard at the we bits left behind clears them up mostly.

I use a cordless Babyliiss Superclippers for cutting hair number 2, and without attachments for face stubble. Battery lasts ages between chargers.

I used to just shave with hair clippers before I had a job that required me to be clean shaven. I just did it in the kitchen floor, and then sweep/hoover it up. I'm sure someone will say its wrong to do it in the kitchen, but before it was on the floor it was on my face so it doesn't really matter
