Always voted voted tory voted for bojo, never again switched to libs. Brexit done, tuition fees here to stay so really its about better government. No idea if they would be less corrupt but they would be new.

Who are the “other” parties people are voting for?

Is that independents?

I only put it there to copy the yougov options tbh.

Other. Spoil my ballot with a small explanation about how they’re all guilty of basically steering a turd down a toilet U bend, none appear to want to actually change the status quo.

Cons, I'd like to think I'd vote otherwise but on the day I know where my cross would end up. As ste as they are they're the best of a bad bunch and the best by a long shot. I think my vote would be more to keep any of the others out TBH as a Labour or Lib government as both parties are now doesn't bare thinking about!

I always voted Tory, until the last time. I knew what Boris was going to be like. I knew I couldn't prevent it, but I couldn't be party to it.

I think of myself as Conservative, but the current lot aren't Conservatives.

What is really telling and depressing, in equal measure, are the occasions when I have recently spoken to Conservatives politicians. As soon as the dialogue even hints at Conservative shortcomings the response is consistently and immediately "would you rather have Labour?"

There is not even the pretence that they are any good. No suggestion that they are making an effort. Merely, "would you rather have worse?"

Tories, reluctantly. Whilst there is any hint of far left / momentum remaining in Labour they will not get my vote, and lib dems have just dissapared off the grid so not a viable alternative at the minute.

What a stty state of politics we have in the UK at the minute.

Can’t honestly vote on this as Labour and Lib Dem don’t run in NI and tories don’t run in my constituency. But I’ll give a virtual vote on what I would do.

Insane results

“But but but - the others who have not been in power for a decade want to spend lots of money. Vote conservative - they spend even more money and are disturbingly authoritarian but I own my own house so they represent me”

This.

Boris is a likeable buffoon but he shouldn't have any real power.

Soz Rog! Your vote matters but it’s just based on the yougov voting intention poll and obviously can’t cover all eventualities.

It's a mix of

What a shty state of politics we have in the UK at the minute, and

'Other' or 'won't vote' doesn't give a real answer, God am I really going to vote Tory?

Put down Lib Dems but would have to check out their manifesto and local candidate first. A strange concept I know.

Never voted Labour and would be wasted around here. Not going anywhere near the Tories again because Grr Boris, his cabinet and his UKIP style back benchers.
