Help with roadster window sticking

New-to-me 2007 V8V Roadster door windows go inside the rubber seal when I shut the door. This is the trailing edge of the window. I would think the window sits on this rubber seal to allow it to come away when you open the door, but on both doors, mine gets caught here. Opening the door is difficult and then suddenly pops open with the door glass flapping back and forth. This can't be normal! The car has 11,000mi on it so it isn't worn out. Everything looks new. Both windows drop slightly when opening the door and I've reset that maybe 15 times? Not the issue.

I need pictures of how this would normally look. I attached a pic of my door closed and another of the door being pulled open, showing the window peeling the rubber seal back as it gets pulled. Is this adjustable? Any idea what the failure or fix is?

Looking at the picture it appears the door has dropped.
The crome strips should be level.

That shot is with the door being pulled open. You can see the window is behind the rubber, slowly peeling it back until it POPs out.

The window looks like its dropping but not moving forward to clear the seal.



From the side mine drops so that when you look at the top of the window it is just below the seal.

Thanks for the pic! I'll try power cycling the car and re-setting the window calibration. It is dropping, but just slightly. Apparently it needs to drop a lot more.

The bottom edge of the window needs to come forward.

Too much of the glass is "in" the seal. No amount of dropping on a handle pull will fix that.

There are 2 holes in the door card that allow access to the adjustment bolts.

Close the door, access the bolts from the inside and slide the window forward a smidge ensuring it still engages in the rest of the seal.

Tighten the bolts and test the auto drop.

Can you point me in the right direction for these access holes? I expect removing the door card is required, but made it sound like there are access holes without doing this? I tried more than gently shoving the window forward and no luck there. I really don't want to take my new-to-me car apart, but this is really annoying.
