Insurance: new for old on modified parts?
Discussion
Are there policies out there that offer 'new for old' on modified parts in the event of a write-off?
I mistakenly thought I was ciovered with my last policy (all mods declared with values) but when the car was written off due to flood damage the cost of the mods was not taken into consideration...caveat emptor

My replacement car is worth £16k and has around £5k of upgrades (coilovers, wheels, exhaust...usual suspects) which I'd like to cover at full replacement value if at all possible.
Cheers
