Need an alarm

Running around getting quotes for a new alarm system for my Chim

Thatcham 1
Micowave sensors
blah blah.. and all the rest

Best quote so far with the works is £450 installed.

Can anyone recommend a decent system and installer in the SW London region?

I have also been advised that the normal choice such as Clifford and Toad won't last long in a TVR due to the electrics and spiking. META will be your best bet, I would also highly recommend Carl!

Can anyone give any more info on the reasons for other alarms not being any good? Why dont they last long?
Resin potted alarms...... what about them?
