Transit conversion
Discussion
Hi, wondered if anyone has DIY converted a transit? If so where did you start and any tips?
I've a 2013 Mk7 T350 transit high roof so plenty of room to go at. Will need to accommodate two adults and a child in comfort. Mainly looking at tips for insulation/heating/power but anything is useful. It currently is just a big white builders van so a blank canvas.
Cheers

As above, have a look on Youtube and at self-build campervan forums. I could write up a bunch of stuff (currently building a van myself), but other people have already said it far more eloquently elsewhere!
As a starting point, you can take a look at Greg Virgoe's videos on Youtube. I don't necessarily agree with the way he does things, but he goes into detail and makes it easy to understand. It's a great way to learn what you're getting into.
