Hi danfrith, you may remember my post a short while ago
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=6&h=&t=186598

The latest on my car is that I am due to get it back from Austecs Very soon, today I thought.
Pauls initial diagnosis was that the car was running very rich, the lambdas were knackered and the plugs were also fouled up and needed replacing. Paul also discovered (and this I believe to be the route cause) a leak in the throttle body. The car also had the Red Rose map in it which apparently wouldn't have helped matters. Along with the lambdas, plugs and sorting the T.body pauls changing the HT leads and is going to rolling road and map it properly, so hopefully i'll have a well sorted cerb when I get it back.

Didn't get the car back today Paul took it for an MOT for me and it failed on handbreak and of all things, Emissions. made me laugh 'cos Paul had just rolling roaded it.
Picking it up tomorrow.

Dan is very good. He set up my Cerb after a service and it did make a difference. Pre service at Vmax7 top speed was 167, post service at Vmax8 top speed was 171. I would like to think that it was all Dan's doing and not just different conditions!
Mine's back in there end of next week
