Stress levels are reaching breaking point chez Tea - we are getting married on Saturday and are banging our heads against brick walls with people letting us down at the last minute.
The most recent one has me fit to explode.
Over 10 days ago I ordered a clock as a present for my brother, the best man, in "Menkind". They had one in the store but it was on display. They said they had one packaged up in their Wandsworth store and said they'd get it sent over. We paid and left.
Days passed, kept ringing them to check, kept saying they'd find what was going on but never called back. Turns out they don't have one, and nor do Wandsworth, neither store ever did, but they'll ring round their stores. After much chasing we manage to discover that none of their stores have one (only 4 stores, f*** knows why it took half a day to contact them all). They can order one but it will take a week.
The mail order dept say they can get it out in 4 days but we need it by Thursday.
FFS, what is wrong with these retards? 2 BLOODY WEEKS AGO we rang them, and now they're fannying about because of their useless incompetent staff. 
sack your useless staff because it certainly ain't good PR.
Now apparently head office are showing 4 in stock at Wandsworth. Currently waiting for them to call us back.
At this rate I will be driving to Wandsworth tomorrow, buying one, and then going and having a good shout at the manager of the Bromley store and asking for petrol/time money.

Cheers guys, TBH was waiting for "2 Smoking Barrels" to tell me to go and have a nice cup of tea! Jo just rang head office and was really good, obviously annoyed, but calm and not overly stroppy. They've managed to locate a bigger version of the clock that they're couriering out. Now that's a bit more like it!
Personally I would have preferred the smaller one, and not to have had to go postal on their asses, but it's a good comeback.
Now to see if it turns up. I am a little disappointed that I didn't get to tear the Bromley branch staff new arseholes...
