filling gearbox and diff oil - Chim 98 ,500 - T5

sorry about the simple question, need to get myself a bible..

but, about to replace the oil in my diff and gbox.

how the heck do you fill the gbox oil??? the filler hole is way too hard to get to! what am i missing?!!!!

also, not even looked at the diff, what should i be looking out for? (it has cooling fins on the outside)

also....

the T5 box has several wires attached / coming to it that are unconnected to anything.

what are these for? any ideas greatly appreciated.

The gearbox is filled from the RH side facing the front of the car. Tricky without a ramp but possible with a long length of pipe and funnel i am told.
Use synthetic ATF.

The diff is filled from the same side and the plug has a metal tag attached.
Drain while hot and use synthetic 80/140 LSD gear oil.
