The time to sell my car came, prompted by a random expression of interest from a PH member who saw my car and also reflection on the fact that I just wasn't using it as much as I should have been. I then spoke to some of the well known independents, but it was Ashgood who were the standout company here, completely straightforward and very easy to deal with. They offered me a strong outright purchase price coupled with no nonsense and a very smooth transaction process. So this is a public thankyou and an acknowledgement of their professional and friendly approach. Based on this interaction I highly recommend them, and if/when I look to getting into another Porsche at some point they will certainly be my first point of contact.

If you're looking to buy an excellent 981 Spyder in great condition and in a stunning colour - you might want to look at Ashgood. I'm genuinely sorry to see it go and hope that I don't regret it, IMO these 981's are super cars and I'm sure that someone else will get a lot of enjoyment from it.

I can second this…..bought my 981 from them recently and they were brilliant, they did what they said and were upfront about a defect which was fixed..The MOT was done and no pressure sales …

Was presented in tip top condition and all paperwork was provided .On top of that their coffee is nice and because i was early to collect it i was told to help myself to a look around some seriously nice cars!!

Have loved it so far and would def go back if i decided to get another Porsche…not that Nrs ClaphamBox is going to allow that anytime soon…

Have bought two and sold one via Ashgood…

Echo the above, very easy to deal with, know their stuff and are up front and decent guys.

Would definitely recommend.

I’ve not bought or sold via Ashgood to date, but I’ve met Mike and he’s a great guy.
I regularly look at their stock, (in fact my previous 981 Cayman GTS was listed there not long ago) and it’s always good quality and properly priced for an actual sale.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I dropped Ashgood a line and went down to see it the next day, and bought it there and then. Can agree with you fully on the guys there, spent a good 2 hours talking about various Porsche’s with Tom and had it not have been for work I’d have carried on longer. Secondly thanks for spec’ing such a unicorn car! I’m changing back to a 981 Spyder (this will be my third) from my 718 Spyder. Won’t get into 981 v 718 as they’re both brilliant in their own right but always told myself if a unique 981 came up I’d go for it. Collected it last week and already planning some road trips for it. Good luck whatever you get in to next.

What a brilliant outcome! Ashgood seem to be running a very fair and honest business, they offered me strong money on a 991.2 C2S I was selling a while back. The sale didn't actually happen, no fault of Ashgood, but I wouldn't hesitate in dealing with them again.

I sold my 981 CS to Ashgood earlier in the year. Friendly, no nonsense process. Honest and trustworthy was my overriding impression, which in the world of used car sales is both rare and invaluable. I was offered a very fair price and whole process went smoothly. I would thoroughly recommend them, and if I return to porsche again in the future, would be very happy to deal with them again.

Another very positive recommendation for Ashgood from me. Straight as die, very good on the money side (both selling to and buying from) and extremely helpful and accommodating.

Can you share a little about why you went back to 981?

Thanks for taking the time to post that up! I'm glad that you had a good buying experience, and also it's nice to see a fellow PH'er with my old car! I really really liked it and think that it's a beautiful car, in fact, I was in two minds actually handing it over when Vic from Ashgood came to pick it up - it was a wrench to let it go, but I just wasn't using it over the last year and it was a waste leaving it in the garage unused. I hope that you get as much enjoyment out of it as I did!

Would like to echo what others have said. When I picked up my 718 GT4 they were great, especially Tim. Very laid back and no pressure sell or arrogance. Also when looking at prices across Independents, I think they price their cars to sell and keep stock moving.
