They are both 4 cylinder 2.0 - the previous F30 318i was a 3 cylinder. The 320i is an excellent car that goes well and is economical so I'd imagine the 318i would be acceptable with around 150 bhp. Not fast but pleasant enough. I'd go for the automatic as well.
