Can someone confirm whether this car has folding mirrors?

Hi there,

I am confused as to what "Power Folding Mirrors" mean in this car.

I want to know whether I am able to fold the wing mirror when driving in tight spaces or not? or is it only when I lock the car in parked position the wing mirror will fold in this car.

From the photo it looks like it doesn't have the function to close the wing mirrors as it doesn't have the extra button like in the photo below but I have never owned a BMW so any one can confirm?

If the following snap-shot is from the car in question (and I suspect it is), then no it doesn't



You would have a button to the left of the mirror select switch

2018 G30 M Sport folding mirrors

I stand corrected power folding mirrors are not std on any trim on the 5 series

Mine has the comfort pack which folds on lock and has a button

Its not helpful that your ad, as is often/usually the case online, doesnt actually state whats standard and which options are fitted - if any

Im a bit rusty but with a fresh mug of tea and the registration number you can fairly easily find a BMW VIN online and then lookup whats fitted to it

EDIT: and the standard speakers will be a bit crap at best, Id only buy a BMW fitted with HK after 2y in one without a while ago

All mirrors fold, but some do electrically. HTH (as people say!)
