n54 primary cats

Just a quickie, does any one have any idea what a pair of primary cats are worth from a 2007 335i? they have done around 90k if that makes a difference, its just that someone told me they can pick up a few quid scrap or would I be better off trying to sell them? cheers

You might be surprised what they go for scrap.

I sold a pair from a 98 328 several years ago for £80 for scrap, but as OE BM cats tend to last the life of the car they can take a very long time to sell if at all.

yeah you don't seem to see many on ebay for sale. Is it general scrap metal merchants who'd buy them, or more like car dismantlers?

The price you get for used cats sold legitimately has recently dropped due to the market being flooded with stolen ones. I got £120 for an E46 and a RAV4 cat last month.

Got £60 each for primary cats and £220 for secondary cats (e46 325i ) total £560 which I was very happy with.

my wife found a chap on a facebook 335i form and he offered me £450 for the pair! happy days!!!!, thanks guys
