How do you turn off automatic TV switch on via a Sky Q box?
Discussion
When the engineer bloke installed my Sky box a few months back he automatically set it to switch the TV from Stand-by to On when the box goes on. I'm trying to find out how to cancel that though.
Reason I ask is that I have just got an HDMI splitter as I run it to my projector as well and even if you turn the TV to standby, as soon as you push the home or guide buttons on the remote it turns the TV on again. I'm also going to run an HDMI cable into the bedroom directly above so that's another TV which will be switched on if it happens to be the same make as the one in the living room.

It will be on the TV somewhere - it’s called HDMI - CEC or ARC so look for that on the menus. Alternatively, most TV’s only support CEC or ARC on one or two HDMI ports, so maybe try swapping where your Sky box is connected to.
