Peter Kay recently returned to the stage after a break of 4 years. Peters return was prompted by the plight of one of his old TV colleagues young daughter.

All the money raised went to help Laura get the treatment in Germany that could help prolong her life and the Brain Tumour Charity. Well done Peter and I hope he will feel ready to return to the stage and best of luck to Laura and her family.

Very funny bloke in his heyday, no doubt he still will be now. Would happily go and watch him.

We tried to get tickets but they sold out within the minute. By the time we could refresh they had all gone.

I like Peter Kay... Phoenix Nights is still one of the best comedy series ever written IMO.

Did the reason for his sabbatical from the stage ever become known?

Well, when he appeared back in the spotlight he was wearing a hat all the time so maybe he had his own cancer issues.

Mrs Buzz and I were applying for tickets to see the tour that got cancelled, She's wanted to see him for years.

They all sold out so quickly but as she watched up popped a third night, she got some tickets to that and were delighted to have bagged centre seats on the front row!

Obviously very gutted to have seen that it was canceled, never repeating that luck with the seats. But we appreciate that to cancel a whole year of touring and essentially retire indefinitely it had to be something incredibly serious with him or his family.

Glad he’s back.
Love to see another series of Max&Paddy. Peter was brilliant and it was the only thing Paddy was any good in.

Do you remember paraffin lamps? That were an old form of lighting weren’t it!
