amongst my daily app updates on my iPad is something called GoDaddy Studio. I’ve never knowingly installed this and I can’t find an icon for it or an entry in the App section of the control panel.

In the end I ran the update which then allowed me to open the app. It asks for all sorts of registration and sign in info so I’ve clearly never had it before. Still no icon to allow me to uninstall it. Is there a way to see “hidden” apps?

The app name on the iPad won't necessarily be the same as shown in the App Store.

e.g. I used to have an app that was called 'My Routes' on the App Store, but was listed as 'Navigation' when installed on the iPad.

That's it, thanks. I looked through the description of it in the App Store and right at the bottom it said "Formerly known as Over", which I did have installed.

Might explain it - do you have the Over app?

From the link:

here’s what you need to do:

When we switch to the new name on July 6, you’ll need to take a few easy steps to create a GoDaddy account and unlock your new access. It'll take less than 5 minutes to do this, and we'll send you a reminder when the time comes.

IMPORTANT: To avoid losing your Over account, please ensure that you activate your GoDaddy account before the end of July.

Follow these steps, depending on the device you’re using. If you have a GoDaddy account already, use those details to log in and you’re all set.

On iOS
1. Update the app to the latest version in the App Store. Over will be named GoDaddy Studio in the App Store from July 12 onwards.

2. Open GoDaddy Studio when the app update is complete. You'll notice our shiny new logo and name in your phone.

3. Follow the simple instructions on screen to create your new GoDaddy account.

We'll automagically transfer your projects to your new account.
