Aston Yorkshire Runout Aug/Sept 2021

I've been thinking of an Aston runout again after the great day we had on 13th June.

So I'm going to organise another one on 11th September.

Ok so this run out will be alot different from the last one because now the COVID restrictions are almost now over all the stately halls are booked up full with weddings every weekend so I have been unable to book Bowcliffe Hall for a breakfast venue and a couple of other stately halls for lunch.......but.... I would still like to start the runout around the west York area around Wetherby and my route will be through the great driving roads of the Yorkshire Dales and have lunch at the Fat Lamb Pub.

I noticed on the 13th July the morning runout was not great as there were just too many cars in the convoy so I'm putting a limit on the cars to a maximum of 10, that way the convoy should be more enjoyable.

So the day will be meeting at Wetherby Services at 08:30 (if I find a better meeting place than this I'll let you know) and having a coffee, then the runout in the morning and having lunch at the fat lamb.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks very much for your interest in this runout.

I've amended the list above as the runout will be on the 11th September, I've booked the FL for lunch arriving at 12.30.

Sorry for the guy's not able to come on the day, there will be runouts in the future.

I've also reduced the max number of cars to 10, that should make it more manageable for me to lead the conoy and for you all to enjoy the run out.

So moving on I need to know if your bringing a +1 so can get numbers.??

Below is the lunch menu for the FL, please take a look and let me know your food choices?? please send me a private message.

I think we confirmed that being 30% down on cylinder count is not an impediment to making progress.

We can bring either just Kermit (V12VSM) or the AMR Rapide also if vehicle space permits. Let me know via PM - happy either way.

Cool, our preference would be to bring both cars for sure!

So to be clear, we will each drive one car, so 2 people, 2 cars.
