New website that turns clothed people pics to nude

Just read about this site in the papers today.

You upload a pic of a person, and it then uses AI to remove the clothes

Tested it out for research purposes, uploading a online pic of Teri Hatcher from her Suprrman days, and can confirm it works reasonably well

But should it be allowed? As you just know kids are going to be uploading pics of other kids, and also their teachers. And it will be impossible to tell of real or fake, and cause all kinds of pain.

If you want to do that can’t you just photoshop it (or similar) in a couple of seconds yourself?

Took away her lovely curves and gave her a thin man's body with small boobs

The more worrying thing is the frightening pace of development of deepfake technology. Pretty soon videos will be created with people swapped into them and it will be virtually impossible to tell real from fake (some are very good already but the majority are a bit ropey).

The funny thing is that people don’t hesitate uploading a picture of themselves or someone they know.

Another definition of the above is to give the picture to a dodgy company, together with your IP address and details of your device.

I tried it and it was rubbish.

With someone in a bikini, it simply pasted on some random boobs.

It didn't work at all with another picture I tried which was output as a random mess of colours.

So if anyone was the least bit offended by said site, they need to take a good long look at themselves...
