V8 Vantage 8 Slat Grill Top Slat Missing

Have you tried EBay there seem to be some used ones on there.

Sorry that’s one of the plastic brackets that holds the grill, also like hens teeth! I had to replace mine a year back & got lucky, nearly new one on e bay. Pretty sure I have some slats from the original. Away for a few days but will check.

The Vantage N24 Prototype had this grille arrangement.

Thanks both - looks particularly good against the blue although I'm not sure if that's just because in that lighting the slats are effectively black! If I was ever to entertain a wrap (unlikely) my first port of call would be that blue.

Sorry, found one but its not the top plus its broken! I imagine a fabricator could knock one up pretty easily. Good luck.

Yes they all mount in the same place. From memory the curvature isn't uniform across the slats.

Best bet is take the full grille assembly out.

Open the bonnet & remove the slam panel. Easy job just about 8 torx bolts.

Now you will be able to see behind the grill from the top. There are just a couple of bolts, poss 4 holding the frame with the grill to the car.

Now carefully lift out the full assembly.

You can ease out individual slats and reposition.

Slats are easy enough to cut with a good hacksaw, I cut one of mine down.
