One of our silver medallists has been suspended after positive test for banned substance.

Very disappointing, especially after the excellent haul we had this year!

I really do not understand, how can someone be so stupid to appear at an international event with a banned substance in their blood?
Is it stupidity, Most athletes seem more switched on these days.
Do all athletes get tested or just spot testing, perhaps it would sort it out if they were all tested daily?

At least they’re only going to lose silver rather than gold…

In the case of ostarine, it has been put into supplements without being listed as an ingredient - so it's entirely possible to take it unknowingly.

I don't think that's the case for S23, so most likely he knew he was taking it .

Let the process shake itself out. It always seems to take time for this to happen and subject to multiple appeals anyway!
