Surely time the event was just called off isn't it?

Or is that a bit too common sense? wobble

How do you stop it? (Practically)

Lived 3 miles away for years, and always went to the fair. It’s not really that much of a problem, no more so than Glastonbury in terms of crime rates and rubbish, and Pilton gets a far higher proportion of visitors to residents than Appleby.

Just declare it illegal and rely on the law abiding nature of those involved?

I begrudge their choice when it involves snooping through my garage/shed/garden/van, stealing my fking stuff. Or breaking in to my sites and stealing my fking stuff. Thieving scumbags.

And, met their partners? You mean, grabbed a girl by the hair and dragged her in to a caravan, as is "their way"? Bless, let's protect and stick up for their ways, poor oppressed victims.

I think you will be alone with your opinion.

I feel the same way about Jim’ll Fix It. Cancelling the fun that some children had on account of the 90% who were abused is ridiculous.

Cause racism?

What on Earth does that mean?

Had the pleasure of driving past yesterday. Had a SWB Shogun try to swerve in to me and saw more dangerous driving in 2 miles than on the rest of our 565 mile journey put together.

I'm sure it's just their culture though init.

My elderly parents live nearby and won’t go out when it’s on, after a local was nearly lynched after hitting a traveller child who ran into the road . Only the bravery of a single policeman saved the guy.

I think you’re talking about driving through the centre of Bradford.

And were any "travellers" charged?

Any bets?
