I'm convinced it's drug related. A bit of a look round the Internet showed up a few mentions of an industrial chemist called halfpenny who was making all sorts of illegal stuff.

Yeah I figured it was drugs given the advert said he couldn’t say what the item was - thus it had to be something illegal. Just couldn’t figure out what drug - but then I’m old and crusty and don’t frequent the world of substance abuse.
