IIRC, at some point in its long life this thread became the battleground for one or several fierce car nerds who kept arguing over the microminutiae of their insanely detailed "reconstructions" of the mystery mobile.

Could it be that one of them is now demanding the thread must be deleted for copyright violation because in his dreams he will sell his speculations to the BBC for a feature-length Top Gear episode any day now?
