Hmm, It's about time China has a go now isn't it?
I imagine they could pull it off, of all the nations that have tried thus far - I doubt they'd worry about the consequences of the human rights violations needed to eradicate insurgency.

The Chinese were rather more merciful in previous conflicts, British troops captured during the Korean War attested to that regarding their treatment in POW camps. The Chinese tend to favour assimilation and soft power over shock and awe and military conquest.I imagine they could pull it off, of all the nations that have tried thus far - I doubt they'd worry about the consequences of the human rights violations needed to eradicate insurgency.
I hope the countries who took part in the Afghanistan campaign will be happy to take in the Afghans displaced by this regime change.
