I am looking to change the 996C4, for a 4S, and have seen a few that have had five previous owners.

We talked aout buying on condition for milage, what about the number of owners? Make any difference?

Well, I'm the 4th owner of my 993tt and that didn't bother me. Maybe your previous owners wanted a new car every year? Maybe one or more started a family? Mybe one or more needed the cash for something else? ...bla bla bla....could be many reasons other than the car itself.

I was under the impression that Porsches in general tend to swap hands quite regularly. I vaguely remember seeing something that says the average 996 owner keeps their car for about 2 years. This means that there are bound to be lots of owners who keep them for a short while and then move onto something else.

I know of at least one person who changes his Porshce like he changes his underpants.

Even taking this into consideration, I don't see why the number of owners should make any difference.

My 993TT has had 8 owners and was by far the cleanest one I'd seen. Henry will tell you - what do you do when you first buy a car? Service it, clean it, treat it like a new love.
For nine people to want and buy my car proves how good it must be!
