A leather wallet that will last????

My eldest bough me an Aspinal wallet many years ago, it's still going strong with no signs of wear.
Similar to the one in the link below, but mine is red suede inside and also has 2 full width compartments behind the card holders, the one in the link only has 1:

Had mine for 15 years. Probably better than it was when new now as it has softened up beautifully.

It all depends on how you use them, a wallet in an inside pocket of a suit jacket should last for generations, a wallet in the back pocket of a pair of jeans on a building site might have a shorter life.
And overstuffed, cram the thing with wads of cash and what do you expect. Loadsamoney types should use a clip. I've got a Karl Lagerfeld leather wallet. It's about 4 months old. It looks really good still.

On day 3 after my missus gave it to me (as a present) it fell out of my pocket. again - nothing incredible.
I was on my motorbike at the time, and this was on an A road.
I retraced my steps the next day and found it. All the cards inside were properly smashed up, as was the bank security code generator thing, and the three £1 coins inside had dents and scratches all over them.
After it's been run over a few times and the contents destroyed, for it to come out with just a little Patina ( tiny dents) - even the little press stud closing on the coin pocket still works, is astounding.
I know you're not going to rush out and buy one on that.....
