Holding Back??

Been finding lately that when i am really pushing hard
2nd and 3rd at 6 grand she has been holding back.
Two ideas hot weather or fuel ?
Any ideas interested to hear your views.

Forgot too say she does clear herself after a while,bearing in mind as well i dont use her every day.

Craig, My 993 Carrera 4 does the same, but only when I have the Air Con working. Could this be the same for your car ?

Thanks for the reply but no she was doing it without aircon on.
I think i have found it is the fuel.Running on normal unleaded did her no favours,since using super-unleaded she has improved no end.If the problem does return i am going to try different plugs.
