LOOKING TO BUY MY OLD CAR BACK

I am attempting to track down my old car which I sold purely for financial reasons rather than because I wanted to. I’d like to buy it back!

It’s a 2006 VW Polo in blue. Reg is AD06 AFX

Last I knew, it was going to Derby, UK. But I am unsure where it is now.

Any help is really appreciated!

Ran the plate through Motorscan's site.

According to their data, the tax expired on 28th July, and on the same date the V5 details were updated by the DVLA. So it was either sold privately on that date and the new owner has failed to tax / SORN it, or more likely it went into trade as a PX / WBAC, etc.

Nobody would want it back otherwise.

I would love to find my old Mk1 Astra SR.

Fantastic fun and has huge nostalgia. Featured in most of my epic driving stories and trips to Austria.

Was 35 years ago though.

Have you checked it's MOT history, it failed 3 times with a long list of issues in Feb/March this year before it finally passed.
