Anyone know anything about this car? Its for sale at the moment and wondering if its a well known car.

Had a test drive in it today and was mighty impressed with the poise and useability of the RS. It was simply awesome, and I'm really warming to the idea of an NA car now. I felt more relaxed driving it that I ever did in the Noble, and given the noble is apparently a lot more forgiving than a GT2 I'm thinking I may have found my next car.

about bl**dy time too!!! it's been like listening to a dithering woman who can't make her mind up!!!

get an rs, get a gt2... get a grip!

too much analysis leads to paralysis!

no offence is intended in the posting of this mail. shares may go down as well as up. your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or a loan secured on it.

lol not a case of dithering, only just sold the noble and finding a GT2 to play with is like finding hens teeth!

I'm away on holiday from next week, and getting married on Sat, so I think it may be a tad impulsive to make a move before I get back. The dealer sure was kean to make a deal though!

pathetic lack of devotion to the cause. I negotiated for my RS over the phone while on honeymoon

(enough talk about RS's on honeymoon actually..ahem)

Surely a case of needing to buy it this week whilst you still can.

I dunno Jez, your car collection seems to have increased during your partnership with Alison...

Partnership being the operative word: I've made sure that I don't have a wife to complain about my nasty car habit.

Thanks for the best wishes chaps.

I've found myself a bride who loves cars too. Which is handy as it means she'll share the costs

Negotiating an RS whilst on honeymoon is a level of cool I won't be attaining. The car I've seen is blue which isn't my ideal (and on a dream car you want it to be right) it also has ceramics that look like they may be a bit worn. Dealer is very kean to do a deal though.

Oh and I still want to try a GT2 out first just to be sure!

Saw another GT3 RS at Broadoak Performance Cars earlier today in Canterbury....this one's red and bleeding gorgeous...more interesting to you? It's not on their website...they're here if you want to "compare" www.bpc.uk.net

(thought this could have been the one you were referring to until you mentioned the colour...sure it's also on an '04 plate)

Good luck on Sat, btw...got married a couple of months ago myself (well, "ourselves"...didn't marry myself!) and now expecting our first "junior"

Don't see the point buying an RS from outside the dealer network really. I really want an OPC warranty on a car that valuable. They are almost all 04, although a couple sneaked in during 03 I believe. Loads on the OPC network too, although the price bands are 75k-85k and they aren't shifting. Dunno why not though they are fabulous!

Kids - congrats! Now thats the reason I need to get the car now, not my future wife!

Dan,

In or out of the dealer network they are all covered by warranty and an extended Porsche warranty is about £500-700.

I say thay because I still have mine for sale at £69950 of course :-)

Good luck on Saturday!!

I have a customer who owns a red decal GT3RS who is interested in selling. Has 4500 miles on the clock, absolutely perfect in every way, just been in to us for a wheel alignment. I think the price will be mid £70's, contact me if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer, but since OPCs are now offering to discount below mid 70s with 12 months warranty, dealer love and the possibly of legal redress if its a lemon I see very little point in going private. I suspect private sellers may need to modify their expectations

I wish him every success with his sale.
