After a big wait finally have it and have a few days to drive it! The launch control is as crazy as all those you tubers make it out to be! Genuinely amazed at the performance, I thought my 650s launched hard But this takes it to another level! Especially from the passenger seat!!! My brother was kind enough to drive it with me in the passenger seat to be able to make that claim lol and I would say the sports suspension while hard isn’t terrible and will definitely be able to live with it daily. Would probably save your money if you are thinking about carbon seat backs, they are cool but smaller than I thought they would be an like all other 911’s not many people will be willing to get in the back to see them. ??

And I’m a big fan of the decals I got fitted to it might not be to everyone’s taste but I like it!

And car has had full xpel applied by these guys https://ultimateshineautos.co.uk/ who have carried out a flawless job ( I have washed it about 10 times in 4 days if ownership) and there is not a single correction required. Also used this guy for decals much cheaper than Porsche and the decals fit perfectly!

How did you find the decals for fitting? Considering a spoiler sticker for my GT4 from designstuff.

Amazing car by the way. thumbup

That is more than two washes a day?! Why may I ask?

Wow, there’s a lot going on on the side view. Lots of black accents and yellow callipers a bit much for me but I’m sure it will be a mega drive. Still miss the shove from my 997.2 turbo.

Side decals look really cheap, no doubt as they are. I get that OEM are expensive and no doubt being frugal with money has lead to being able to afford a Turbo S in the first place, but seems odd to buy such an expensive car and put side decals on it. Its all too busy with the stone guard, air vent and privacy glass, and decals, looks really chavvy to me. But hey each to their own.

I was going ask if Burt was what he’d named the car! He should now!

A lovely way of putting it, honest, kind and sympathetic to someone else’s personal taste laugh

“Each to their own”, but I will give my opinion anyway..........bizarre.

How does my POV differ to others saying they don't like it. As ever, people go after me, not others with the same view-point. It looks too busy to me and I explained why.

The OP doesn't care does s/he - they obviously love it and that, as always, is all that matters. I am just expressing 'my opinion', not 'the opinion'. We don't live in a sugar-plum-sycophantic-world where everyone loves what the other person does. See the Olympic Blue thread, when I see something I love, I comment, when I see something I don't think works, I comment. What are you bringing to the party? nada. Best regards.

OP, Great looking car the Sport Design kit looks great makes the car same for the Privvy Glass. If the stickers work for you thats all that matters, watch out for the Speed on these things its so easy to get up to big speeds very quickly.

992 Turbo S? across country which is quicker i would say its down to the weather, if its a bit damp or cold then my money would be on the Turbo S, but if its above say 10d and dry i would say the 918, even on twisty track the 918 is very fast car its not really 4x4 the front is just a Motor, it has over 1k BHP and 1400 Nmns in Hot Lap Mode, all the weight of the batts is below the axle, It handles really well. I still hold the lap record in mine for a road car round Curborough Sprint track with 1.19.1. But not to take anything away form the 992 Turbo S its such a fast usable daily car.

Did you keep your 918? I know you swap out generally. Incredible the new turbo s that quick!
