I am currently putting together a web site dedicated to TVR wedges - nothing else. Having photographed my 350i to death I need some interesting pics of some other owners cars, exteriors/interiors/engine bays or anything wedge related really. If you want to show off your pride and joy, please e-mail me the pics with some brief details. Mail to:- wedgewebmaster@yahoo.co.uk Thanks in advance Mike Mica Blue 350i Edited by mikeb on Tuesday 24th July 20:31

Hi guys, The website is still under development, but is looking good. The site will be exclusively wedge based and will hopefully feature:- wedge buyers guides, model history, maintenance tips, owners gallery pics, interesting articles, for sale and wanted ads etc. This is a major undertaking and any help you fellow wedge owners can give would be very much appreciated. I am looking for interesting wedge pics, interesting modification articles, upgrades etc. The site will available soon (no definate date set yet) and the URL will be:- www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk If you have anything to contribute, please contact me at:- wedgewebmaster@yahoo.co.uk Cheers Mike Mica Blue 350i

I have several pics (well 3) at the mo one in hi res digital (which you no doubt do not want as it is 7 megs) but the others at about 500kbits) my camera will do smaller, 100kbits ish, which do you prefer? Also a rather large bill in the engine department (lots of mods) info can be supplied when I get the final bill. It has been much modified in other departments already. I would be extremely interested to see a body off re-fettle of the 390SE. How old is the car, and is it so bad that it needs a body off job ??? Regards Broadside

WOW Thanks guys for all the support - All of the above and more please!!!!. I am especially looking for articles with pics, everything from changing a ripped leather gearstick gaiter to a body off restoration of a 390 (thanks Richa). Seamus, It is sad that we have to play by ourselves! but I feel that unless you are driving about in a new(ish) Tiv, then many main (and smaller) dealers don't want to know, and I have the impression that in general, wedges are looked upon as the 'poor relations' in the big Tiv scheme of things - sometimes even by other newer Tiv owners! I have started this site with the firm intention of putting Blackpool's BEST back on the map!!. Hopefully, it will become a meeting place for like minded people to share wedge tips, experiances and information, but it is all down to people like us - the reader will make it what it can be. I was even thinking of starting a completely separate 'Wedge Club' - any thoughts... Thanks in advance Mike Bressington ps. if everything goes to plan I should have something online soon. Please stay with me. pps. Patrick - Thanks pics look great. Broadside - Thanks in advance. Jmorgan - I have a 56k modem, give the small ones a go and we will see how we get on. Richa - Yes please! Jolly Seamus - I think the (blue??) SEAC belongs to a Bristol TVRCC member and if so, hopefully he might be onboard already - I have yet to hear from him. It is an '88 (E). Yes, it really is bad enough to require the body off!! Both outriggers are completely rotten, and there are a number of small cracks in welds that need to be addressed. Once the body is off, I will be taken many photos of how it is currently. Peninsula will be replacing the outriggers and repairing the other problems, I will then be taking the chassis home to sand and repaint (+ more photos). When that part is done, the chassis will be taken back to Peninsula, who will be rebuilding the rear callipers, replacing rear discs and pads (grooved discs with Green Stuff pads), the rear wheel bearings are being replaced, driveshaft UJ's replaced. Shocks springs and bushes replaced with Peninsula's Nitron units, and the fuel and brake pipes will be replaced with Stainless Steel Braided. I will take as many pics as possible, and hope that it will be of interest to others. Rich.

Thanks Seamus, Pics and a few words (or a complete 10,000 word article!) would be fantastic!!!. Putting together the wedge website is proving to be very time consuming, so any help is gratefully recieved. I am still giving the 'wedge club' some serious thought. Donington is a good example; 4 wedges turned up all parked all over the place. With a little organization we could have all parked together. (make great pics and a chance for a chat). With a little more organization (and numbers) I know a firm that will make stainless Wedge kick plates cheaper, with a little more organization we could arrange wedge only discounts on servicing, with a little more organization (and numbers) we could arrange some sort of cheaper wedge insurance and so on.... Just a thought. Mike Edited by mikeb on Monday 30th July 20:23

Agree with the comments about dealers and the attitude to Wedges . Bought a Chimaera from a main dealer in Cheshire , and they couldn't do enough . Mention bringing a fire breathing 400SE in for service and they don't really want to know . Contact me off line and Ican send pics of 400SE chassis #227 .

Mike, I'll pull some stuff together for you on my 450. I've just done what I promised myself that I would never do..that is to put all costs and work in to a spreadsheet! Anyway, I can give you details and some photos of the car plus upgrades etc that have been done over the last 5 years. Look forward to seeing the site up and running. Steve Heath has to be the man for other wedge stuff! Cirks
