What is the current PH tyre of choice for a Chim on standard Imolas?

I’ve currently got Toyo T1R front and back in 205/55/15 & 225/50/16.

I’ve also got a set of 4 16” Estorils in the garage doing nothing that I could sling some tyres on if the 15”/16” combo is too difficult these days.

IMO if they're available in your size(s) the easy answer to any high performance tyre question is always Michelin.

Just wondering what sizes people are using these days as well?

Not as good as a 888 but on our bitty roads probably as good overall.
I have RS3. Brilliant allrounder for the money.

Pagey, that’s very kind but I couldn’t not pay something towards them. Would need to get them picked up and delivered too. Will email you.

Michelin pilot sport 4 and Goodyear eagle F1 Assy 5 are both great tyres but chances are they are not available in Tvr sizes.
If I get back into a Tvr in the future I will do my best to get either of them even if it means buying the wheels to allow me to do so.

I have Michelin pilot super sport on my Porsche. They are an excellent tyre!

They put other tyres to shame but at a price.

For a good all-round reasonably priced tyre it is hard to beat the Uniroyal Rainsport.

It all depends on your driving style.

Another vote for the RainSports here.

We went away to the peak district this weekend. On saturday it lashed it down so we spent the day driving around rather than the stuff we had planned.

The RainSport 3's were great. Lots of twisty B roads with standing water, off camber bends, steep hills etc. Not a single 'moment'. Admittedly I wasn't hooning but the car felt totally planted and there was plenty of grip.

They're fine in the dry too.
